Paris Continued...

LE Tour Eiffel

This is the style of the typical building (mainly apartments) in Paris.

That's a crazy girl ;)

Notre-Dame

Galleria (French "Shopping mall" in Paris)

... its ceiling.

Solenne deciphering Road Dahl on our boat tour of the Seine.

This would've been such a good picture if I weren't blinking!

A Garden in the Quartier Mouffetard.

The Market at Place de Monge.

Wonderful Old Madame selling us breakfast from Bretagne.

The beautiful displays!

La Rue Mouffetard - my favourite place that we visited!

Stay tuned for more to come! I hope to in the next few days before I return home,
post all the pictures from the rest of Paris, but also Provence, to Switzerland to the Alps,
to my visit to Primary School!
BUT
As to be expected, my schedule is packed this last week, so I will try my very best!
Take care, Canada, and until tomorrow!
[It's bedtime in France.]

Paris

"Paris, the city of love and of lights ... oh, Quasey, I feel you!"
Paris is best left undescribed. There is no other place like it and it is completely and totally immense!
It has over 10 million habitants, and the amount of annual visitors to the city exceeds the total population of France itself.
Paris is in-absorbable.
Here is a taste of the billions of photos taken of our adventure in the city of lights; there will be more to come!

Berets!

Louvre

"Oh, Champs Elysees, OOOOh Champs Elysees..."
(I don't know if you know that song...)

So, a bit of Paris. But there is more from where that came from!

Germany!

If you ask me, I will be honest; I like France, but I love Germany.
There is something about Germans that just makes you want to have a beer and sing. We visited the region the capital of Blackforest; Freiburg. What a beautiful city!!
I have more pictures that I will add later, but for now, these will do!

Freiburg Markt

Grandmere, Anne, Myself, and Solenne

Of course, the French tourists find the only Cheese Shop in Freiburg, and it turned out Grandmere knew the owner!

Solenne, Me, Grandmere, and Grandpere eating sausage for lunch!
And we found good, German bread I could eat. I love Germany.

Random donkey.

More lunch.

The biggest lake in Swarzwald. It was good to be in Nature again.

Amphitheater in Neighbouring Village

The following photos are of ancient Roman ruins of the Roman Amphitheatre in the neighbouring village, Mandeur. It's here where I do all my big thinking. I love biking here, bringing work and a picnic with me and just thinking while walking through the Ancient Ruins. Truly a special place.

Grandpapa, me, and Solenne in the ruins

Truly a special Place.
